  12. The patch files are for use by REGISTERED owners of Ami-Back Tools ONLY.  This
  13. patch will bring Ami-Back Toos from v1.00 to v1.01.  These patches will ONLY
  14. work on the English version of Ami-Back Tools.
  15.  
  16. To use it do the following:
  17.  
  18.     1.  Extract the files in this archive (if you are reading this
  19.         you have already done this).
  20.         
  21.     2.  Make a copy of your original Ami-Back Tools disk.  DO NOT perform
  22.         this patch on your original disk.
  23.         
  24.     3.  Place the Ami-Back Tools disk (copy) in any floppy drive.
  25.     
  26.     4.  Make sure your current directory is the directory with 
  27.             the extracted files.
  28.     
  29.     5.  Enter the following command exactly as it appears or double 
  30.         click on the patch.script icon.
  31.     
  32.         execute patch.script
  33.         
  34.     6.  After completing the patches you MUST install using the normal
  35.         install procedure (see the you Users Manual.)
  36.

  40. Changes Made 1.01 to 1.02:
  41.  
  42.     Ami-Back Tools
  43.     
  44.     o  The problem with the optimizer cache causing crashes that was
  45.        introduced in the 1.01 patch has been corrected.
  46.     
  47.     o  Mounting certain strange non-disk devices was causing Enfocer hits
  48.        on startup. These devices would also show up in the device list.
  49.     
  50.     Ami-Sched II
  51.     
  52.     o  The Appicon was not being displayed the second time the shceduler was
  53.        launched.
  54.        
  55.     o  Fixed problem with days per week.  Was performing the scheduled
  56.        event everyday when any day per week was selected.

  58. Changes Made 1.0 to 1.01:

  60.     AmiBack Tools - Changes
  61.  
  62.     o  Optimizer was going into a loop when trying to move a large bitmap. 
  63.        Also, it wasn't updating bitmap pointers that were buffered when 
  64.        moving a large bitmap.
  65.  
  66.     o  Fixed a problem that caused spurious assertion failures when
  67.        truncating a file because of read errors.
  68.  
  69.     o  Fixed a problem with the requester display code that caused crashes 
  70.        under WorkBench 1.x.
  71.  
  72.     o  Fixed all of the tools so that they honor the bufmemtype of the 
  73.        the device being worked on.
  74.  
  75.     o  Made changes that fix the "click rapidly between requesters causing 
  76.            freeze" problem.
  77.  
  78.     o  Fixed a problem with Analyst Extended Help.  It was displaying 
  79.        garbage help for clicks on a blank line. Also, it was displaying 
  80.        help for the incorrect line on custom screens with certain fonts.

  82.     o  Fixed a problem with ABTools crashing when passed incorrect CLI arguments.
  83.        
  84.     o  Added code to allow the program to be run from the master disk under 
  85.        WB v1.x.

  87.     o  Fixed problem with personalization.  It had an incorrect declaration 
  88.        of a variable causing enforcer hits.
  89.  
  90.     o  Fixed problem with S keyboard equivlent when saving mountlist information.
  91.     
  92.     o  And other minor changes.
